Maardu

The town of Maardu is located in the immediate vicinity of Peterburi mnt, 13-18 km northeast of Tallinn. The town covers an area of 22.76 km2 and borders Jõelähtme and Viimsi municipalities. The southern part of Maardu is crossed by the Tallinn - Narva highway for 3-4 km, which provides good connections to Narva and Tallinn. In the northern part of Maardu there is the Muuga Harbour, in the western part the Muuga garden town and in the north-eastern part the Kallavere residential area, in the southern part Maardu Lake.
