PAST EDITIONS

It all started back in 2018 with the thought of bringing new ideas, international knowledge and innovation to the region. 
The first conference - titled New Baltic Hospitality Forum - shaping the future of the new Baltic regional hospitality market, launched its first event in 2019 in Tallinn, Estonia. With over 200 participants from 13 different countries NBHF was first hospitality event of its kind and scope in the Baltics.
 
Since the start we have organized multiple Forums both online and offline, additionally a 7-episode webinar series during the year of challenges in 2020. 
To support women leadership in the sector Women in Baltic Hospitality community was born with different online and offline meetings-webinars taking place.
 
In 2022 to honor the hard-working people, teams, organizations in the sector New Baltic Hospitality team introduced Baltic Hospitality Awards. 18 nominations gave us winners per each Baltic country. 
2022 winners for New Baltic Hospitality Awards of Resilient Leadership:

  • Sigita Kreivenaite-Rudzeviciene, Courtyard By Marriott Vilnius City Center, Lithuania
  • Raimonds Zommers, Head chef at Restaurant Entresol, Riga, Latvia
  • Siigur Restaurants, Tõnis Siigur & Martti Siimann & Team, Tallinn, Estonia

In 2023, event was titled Next Next Next Normal with the focus on 5 key topics: trends, wellbeing, innovation, sustainability and leadership. With close to 200 participant, the 2-day event was held in Riga, Latvia.

2023 Baltic Hospitality Awards ceremony recognized outstanding achievements and excellence in the hospitality industry across the Baltic region during which two categories were awarded: Young Leader and Best New New Old Concept.

2023 TOP3 nominees for Best New New Old Concept
The top 3 nominees were Two Senses restaurant at Radisson Hotel Kaunas, Selfly Store from Finland, and the Spa at Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga.
The winner - a standout for its authenticity - the Latvian sauna rituals from Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga.

2023 TOP3 nominees for Young Leader
Arturs Stalmanis from Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel, Madis Laid from Duco Hotels Estonia, and Marko Somer from Swissôtel Tallinn, Estonia. We proudly present Madis Laid as the Young Leader Award 2023 winner.
