Interesting facts about Kazakhstan

  • Kazakhstan is the largest landlocked country, as it has access only to the inland seas, the Caspian Sea and the Aral Sea.

  • Kazakhstan is home to the famous Baikonur cosmodrome, which has been one of the main launch pads for spacecraft for many decades.
