Education is for life!
Our school, Tallinn Polytechnic, has been providing technical education since 1915, which means that we are one of the oldest technical schools in Estonia.
Among the most important specialisations for society, you can study Telecommunications Junior Specialist, Electronics Technician, Automation Technician and Domestic Electrician. Today, many young people are also attracted by our 4-year IT Academy courses - IT Systems Specialist and Software Developer. For the more creative young people, our Media Department offers the following specialisations: Print Media Specialist (Print Technology), Visual Media Specialist and Multimedia Specialist. In addition to secondary school leavers pursuing vocational education, we also offer the opportunity for adult learners to acquire a very good technical education.
But beyond the day-to-day lessons, school must also be interesting outside the classroom. So we have an active student council, a dozen extra-curricular activities that are free of charge for our students, and opportunities for joint cinema and theatre trips. We also organise a number of major extra-curricular events - the School Youth Short Film Festival, the Tallinn Polytechnic Film Festival, and the International Vocational Education Competition.Prin(t)ouch, where participants will compete against each other
graphic design, printing, photography. In addition, we have many opportunities to travel - through various projects abroad, where students can do their internship in a European country or go on interesting study trips to gain new experiences.
Tallinn Polytechnic is a school with history and tradition. And most importantly - we believe in learning!
